FSU Moves Weekend Kickoff Time Out Of Irma Impact Concern

Although No. 10 Florida State has not canceled this weekend's game, it has moved the match-up against Louisiana-Monroe to a noon kickoff on Saturday out of concern for Hurricane Irma's expected wrath.

The Seminoles were originally set to play a night game Saturday.

According to a news release Wednesday, all parking lots, including those open to the general public and those assigned to Seminole Boosters, will open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

Doak Campbell Stadium gates will open at their normal time -- which is two hours prior to kickoff.

FSU President John Thrasher says the earlier start time "will give ULM the opportunity to travel safely after the game, and provide many of our fans a chance to come to the game and return home in time to make any necessary preparations."

Fans should monitor seminoles.com, theacc.com and raycomsports.com for updates on stations carrying the FSU vs. ULM game.
