Coral Springs Man Wanted For Taking Up-The-Skirt Videos Of Female Victims

Police in Boca Raton are looking for a Coral Springs man accused of taking up-the-skirt videos of women at a shopping mall.

On Aug. 3, a female victim allegedly told a security officer at the Boca Raton Town Center Mall that someone was standing behind her in the food court and recorded her from a camera strapped to his foot.

The victim's friend allegedly noticed the suspect position his foot so the camera was able to record up the victim’s skirt.

Leonardo Gambasica, 47, was held by mall security following the incident until police arrived.

Gambasica was released by the time police searched his seized backpack and discovered a device with a small camera and SD card.

Police say the SD card contained video of the woman who had reported Gambasica, plus video of other women recorded at a number of mall stores that same day.

Police say the card also contained a video taken from an unknown Publix location. Those victims have yet to be identified.

There is an active arrest warrant out for Gambasica, who remains at large.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or any related incidents involving him is asked to call Detective John Turek at 561-620-6148.
