A 20-year-old man was arrested Sunday after the bodies of his teenage girlfriend and their infant son were found inside a burning Florida apartment building, according to Manatee County Sheriff's officials.
Larry Williams now faces charges of first-degree murder in the deaths of Diamond Shelman, 18, and 8-month-old Jeremiah Shelman.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said Diamond Shelman had injuries that were inconsistent with the fire, which appeared to be arson.
The fire had been noticed by a passing firefighter.
Williams remains in custody with no bond.
