A Florida conservative group will hold a town hall on tax reform in Miami Thursday evening.
Americans for Prosperity-Florida says the program, dubbed Un-Rig the Economy, will include Congressman Ron DeSantis and AFP Deputy of Federal Affairs Kate Hopkins.
DeSantis, a 6th District Republican, is expected to discuss how Congress can fix the tax code, which Americans for Prosperity says is broken.
The town hall gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel located at 3900 NW 21st Street.
According to the event's Facebook page, 32 people are attending and 61 more are interested in going.
