Vice President Mike Pence In South Florida To Discuss Venezuela Crisis

Vice President Mike Pence is making a stop in South Florida Wednesday.

Pence will be visiting Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 11691 NW 25th St. in Doral at 4 p.m. to discuss the Nicolas Maduro Regime and the ongoing crisis in Venezuela

Gov. Rick Scott, Sen. Marco Rubio and Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart are expected to attend alongside the VP.

Pence will meet with Venezuelan exiles, migrants, other local leaders and officials. He’ll also be taking part in a listening session with Venezuelan migrants and community leaders, according to a White House announcement made Tuesday.

Trump recently said he’s not ruling out “military options” for Venezuela, where the Maduro regime has drawn international criticism for his crackdown on dissidents.

The South Florida stop follows Pence’s trip to Latin America, where he addressed leaders of Panama, Colombia, Argentina and Chile.
