School Employee Pinned Under Vehicle While Directing Traffic

A Coral Springs school employee was pinned underneath a vehicle outside of a high school Wednesday morning.

Coral Springs Fire Rescue says officials arrived on the scene outside J.P. Taravella High School sometime before 9 a.m. 

Officials said the victim was a school employee directing traffic. The victim was not a crossing guard, according to police.

Fire rescue crews were able to extricate the victim from underneath the vehicle.

The woman was airlifted to Broward Health North in unknown condition.
