A Bradenton firefighter is hoping he qualifies for the Guiness Book of World Records, after reeling in a BIG fish over the weekend.
James Taylor speared a 409-pound grouper during the St. Pete Open annual fishing tournament on Saturday, according to WFTS.
Taylor was spearfishing in about 250-feet-deep waters when he caught the grouper.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife weighed the grouper, and Taylor is waiting to hear on whether it’s the largest grouper ever speared.
