The former manager of a Holiday Inn hotel in Davie is accused of inappropriately touching an employee's 9-year-old daughter.
German Martinez, 41, of Sunrise, is a registered sex offender in the state of Florida.
On Feb. 26, at the Holiday Inn at 2450 Davie Road, a staffer's daughter was playing video games on a computer in the hotel's business center, according to police.
The child told police that Martinez touched and grabbed her below her waist, over her pants.
In 1995, Martinez was convicted on three counts of lewd or lascivious conduct against a girl younger than 16, according to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement website. He has also been charged twice by the Broward state attorney's office for molestation of a victim under 12.
Martinez was ordered held without bond Thursday.
A manager at the Holiday Inn where Martinez used to work declined to comment. Martinez no longer works at the hotel.
