A member of Venezuela’s ruling Socialist Party may have issued a death order against Senator Marco Rubio, a new report claims.
Venezuelan president of the National Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, allegedly issued the order against Rubio in a memo. Both Cabello and Rubio have publicly feuded over the Venezuela crisis.
Security details have been protecting Rubio in both South Florida and when he has been working in D.C. over the past few weeks.
The news of the death threat comes at the same time that Vice President Mike Pence spoke directly about Venezuela from neighboring Colombia Sunday.
