Hospital Denies Pleas To Chang Venue Of Fundraiser Held At Mar-A-Lago

Despite growing pressures from health professionals, a leading U.S. hospital says it will not move its annual fundraiser from being held at the Palm Beach Mar-A-Lago resort. 

Many are concerned that holding the Cleveland Clinic's annual fundraiser at Trump's Mar-A-Lago. They believe Trump's support for repealing "Obamacare" goes against the hospital's core principles supporting science, research and integrity.

Hospital executives in both Ohio and Florida allegedly reviewed the venue change request and decided against it. 

A spokeswoman says the event in February isn't political and the hospital has other ways to advocate for patients. 

A public letter signed by more than 1,100 doctors, nurses, medical students and other Ohio residents raises concern about the nation's No. 2-ranked hospital patronizing a Trump business.
