Report: Jeb Bush Out Of Running For Miami Marlins Purchase

The number of potential buyers for the Miami Marlins is thinning out, and a group including former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has pulled out of negotiations to purchase the MLB team, reports claim.

Now the bidders are down to two.

That leaves former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and Miami businessman Jorge Mass.

The Bush group reportedly offered $1.17 billion for the Marlins, but owner Jeffrey Loria is said to be seeking $1.2 billion.
