Pembroke Pines Couple Found Dead In Suspected Murder-Suicide

Authorities say a husband and wife were found dead early Thursday morning in an apparent murder-suicide in Pembroke Pines.

Ronald Bennette, 38, and Shani Bennette, 39, were found dead in a vehicle outside their home in the 1100 block of Southwest 110th Avenue, Pembroke Pines police Sgt. Darryl Curtiss said in a news release.

When officers arrived around 12:30 a.m., they found the suspect and victim dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

It is believed that a domestic dispute lead Ronald Bennette to fatally shoot his wife. Deputies believe Ronald then shot himself.

Officers continue to investigate.
