Glenn Campbell Dead at 81

TMZ is reporting that country singer Glenn Campbell is dead at the age of 81. 

Campbell got his big break in December of 1964 with the Beach Boys, stepping in for the ailing Brian Wilson.  He later went on his own, and ended up singing the opening theme for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.  This led to his own show, and eventually his signature hit, Rhinestone Cowboy in 1975.

The singer had been suffering from Alzheimers' Disease
