Florida Woman Named New Republican National Committee Spokesperson

A Florida woman has been announced as the new spokesperson for the Republican National Committee.

The RNC announced Monday that Kayleigh McEnany will be promoting the GOP message.

McEnany is a former CNN commentator who just announced that she would be leaving the cable channel to report the, quote, "real news" for Donald Trump's "Trump TV" on Facebook Live.

The 29-year-old grew up in Tampa and her higher education includes the University of Miami's Law School.

McEnany will serve as the party's television and radio spokesperson, and will be joined by a National Press Secretary and Deputy National Press Secretary.
