Senator John McCain is responding to President Trump's latest comments about Russia.
In an early tweet Thursday, President Trump said the U.S. relationship with Russia is "at an all-time and very dangerous low" and he blamed Congress.
McCain then fired back with a tweet just over two hours later, agreeing that America's relationship with Russia is at a "dangerous low." However, the Arizona Republican blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin.
McCain says Russia has meddled in the U.S. presidential election, invaded neighbors and threatened the nation's allies.
Trump reluctantly signed a Russia sanctions bill this week, calling it "seriously flawed."
