South Florida Staple, Knaus Berry Farm, Gets National Honor

South Florida's iconic Knaus Berry Farm is receiving a national honor as one of the country's most enduring food destinations.

First opening in 1956, the Homestead landmark at 15980 SW 248 Street is being added to the National Culinary Heritage Register.

For more than 60 years, the farm has been known for its fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods and ice cream – along with sticky buns that people wait hours in line to purchase. You can find a full list of their offerings, here.

Knaus Berry Farm opens seasonally from November through mid-April. Currently, they are closed for the summer but will reopen.
