Three Arrested In "Senseless" Fatal Shooting Of FGCU Student

Three people are under arrest in Lee County for the shooting death of a Florida Gulf Coast University student. 

Jonathan Delices, 23, of North Port, was killed in Three Oaks on July 11th.  

Lee County Sheriff's Office has identified those arrested as:

  • 22-year-old Dejerion Stewart of Lehigh Acres
  • 21-year-old Rodney Ivery of Lehigh Acres 
  • 21-year-old Christopher Ward of Fort Myers 

All three are charged with second-degree murder in Delice's death.  

Details on the arrests and what led to them were not immediately made available, though the sheriff's office says that an argument is believed to have led to the fatal shooting.
