Senate Republican Healthcare Bill In Limbo. Analysis, Vote Pushed Back

The revised Senate Republican healthcare bill remains in limbo this Monday.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office was expected to release an assessment of the bill's impacts Monday morning, but that is being delayed for at least one more day.

In the meantime, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has postponed a procedural vote to move the bill forward this week.  McConnell is counting on a yes vote from Senator John McCain but McCain is recovering from surgery to remove a blood clot from his left eye.

The Arizona Republican is not expected back for several days.

Without McCain, McConnell may not have the votes needed to move the bill forward.
