Hazmat crews are dealing with a fuel spill in the Florida Keys.
A gas tanker overturned Monday morning around 6:30a.m. on U.S. Route 1 at mile marker 70.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputies say the tanker went off the road and into mangroves.
Officials say about 2,600 gallons of gasoline poured into Florida Bay as a result of the spill.
Fire Rescue crews "applied foam to mitigate any ignition potential and placed a spill boom in the mangroves to try to minimize runoff," authorities say.
The truck driver has minor injuries, and the FHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
