Wendy's customers rarely have anything meatier to contemplate than whether to get a single, a double or perhaps try the chicken. But those at one of the fast-food chain's Palm Beach County restaurants briefly got to contemplate the hamburger joint's immoral acts against God.
The restaurant recently installed a sign that read, "All of Wendy's sins off one word - FRESH."
And while it probably makes for great conversation for those in line to order, its safe to say that the theological statement wasn't part of the original advertising plan.
JAE Restaurant Group, the franchise company that operates that location, says word was supposed to be "spins" -- "All of Wendy's spins off one word - FRESH."
Somehow, that was not what appeared on the interior wall of the restaurant off Southern Boulevard, near a big intersection where Loxahatchee, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach converge.
It’s not clear how long it had been like that. Puzzled customers began to notice for at least a couple of days.
JAE says one of the letters inexplicably went missing. "We are in the process of fixing the signage and have removed the rest of the word ‘spins’ until we can complete the word with a new letter."
