As we find ourselves one day into the official start of summer, Florida health officials say the Zika virus is already a concern to citizens.
There have been 84 Zika infections reported so far.
While most of them are travel-related, workers around the state are aggressively trying to kill existing mosquitoes, and trying to keep new ones from breeding.
Following the recent rain spell, Miami-Dade instated an aerial spraying of mosquito repellent over much of the county.
With the increased moisture, there could be a large infestation this year.
