Miami-Dade Home Sales Break A Record, Real Estate Agents Are Cashing In!

Real estate agents in South Florida are running to the bank to cash in on their commission checks.

Local buyers swept up a record number of houses in Miami-Dade County in May, figures show.

Sales of single-family homes rose to a new high with over 1,300 closings. That's nearly a 10 percent increase from last year.

The increase in sales is said to be because of pent-up demand and a fear of rising interest rates.
