A group of concerned citizens in South Florida are taking steps to educate our community on the impact of sea level rise.
The Sea Level Rise Group in Hollywood believes it's a critical topic. One of the organizers, Scott Lewis, says part of the outreach is finding solutions.
"I think in the next coming year we're going to work on specific kinds of solutions at the local level," said Lewis.
Tuesday night's free public meeting will focus on the impact sea level rise has on wildlife. It starts at 7 p.m. at Temple Solel in Hollywood.
