North Miami Police Officer Allowed To Have Hearing To Keep His Job

A North Miami Police Commander is allowed to have a hearing to try and keep his job, but it's not yet clear if he will go that route.

Emile Hollant was given notice Wednesday that he will be fired after an investigation into the shooting of Charles Kinsey last year.

Kinsey is the therapist and caregiver of an autistic man who was shot and injured while laying on the ground with his hands up.

Police say Hollant was asked by the chief if he had witnessed the shooting and he said no, but later the investigation showed he was there before, during and after the incident.
