A Polk County man found himself behind bars after allegedly sending naked pictures of his estranged wife to her co-workers in a disturbing “revenge porn” case.
Deputies say 37-year-old Joshua Persaud sent nearly a dozen photos to five of his wife's males coworkers. He also allegedly created a fake social media profile last month, posing as the woman.
The coworkers tipped off the unsuspecting woman, who called authorities.
The photos were sent to Persuad during the course of their marriage. The couple separated in January and are now in the process of filing for a divorce.
Persaud allegedly denies sending the images to anyone, including to a third party that could’ve sent them to her co-workers, but detectives concluded that the victim and Persuad were the only two people in possession of the sexual explicit images.
Persaud is now charged with 11 counts of sexual cyber harassment.
