A top Miami class-action civil lawyer has been found dead.
Police say 57-year-old Ervin Gonzalez was found inside of his Coral Gables home Thursday night.
His death is being investigated as a suicide, although no cause or manner of death has been ruled on pending an autopsy.
Gonzalez, of the firm Colson Hicks Eidson and former president of the Dade County Bar Association, was well respected in South Florida’s legal community. According to his bio, he had boasted 33 verdicts of at least $1 million or more.
