Boyton Beach Police Officers Face Charges In Connection To 2014 Beating Case

Four Boynton Beach Police officers are finding themselves on the wrong side of the law... arrested in connection to a beating three years ago.

Authorities say current officers Philip Antico and Michael Brown, along with former officers Ronald Ryan and Justin Harris, turned themselves in Friday morning.

Officers followed Byron Harris after he ran a stop sign in 2014. Police saw him drop a bag of white powder outside the car. Harris led police up Interstate 95 to West Palm Beach and down to Lake Worth, where the chase ended.

A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s helicopter flew above the scene when the officers took Harris and his passengers into custody. The video showed officers punching, kicking and using a Taser on Harris and two passengers.

Boynton Beach Police have not said what charges the officers are facing.
