A drug-related feud came to an end when one brother allegedly stabbed another in Pompano Beach Tuesday.

The victim, 24-year-old Jermaine Joyner was pronounced dead at Broward Health North.

Broward County Sheriff's officers say Joyner’s stepbrother, 27-year-old Micheal Canning, remained at the scene of the stabbing, and surrendered to deputies when they arrived.

Canning is now behind bars and facing a murder charge.

Authorities say a heated argument over drugs resulted in Canning stabbing Joyner multiple times.

The investigation is ongoing.
