In honor of National Doughnut Day, Oreo has graced us with a creation that, now that it's real, we can't believe we hadn't thought of earlier!
Adding to their lineup of endless creations, which includes flavors like Swedish Fish and Firework Oreos, the company has revealed that a Jelly Donut cookie will be hitting store shelves this weekend.
The newest flavor will feature golden Oreo cookies, a custard outer ring and raspberry jelly center, resembling the flavor of many people’s favorite doughnut.
But these won’t be sold everywhere — you can only get the new flavor at Walmart stores.
The flavor originated as a result of the Oreo Vote program last year where customers had the chance to vote on three new flavors that would be sold exclusively at Walmart. Jelly Donut lost to Cookies and Crème, but there was so much excitement around it that the store decided to bring it to customers anyway.
You should start seeing the Jelly Donut Oreos on Walmart shelves sometime this weekend. A package retails for $2.98.
