Woman, 19, Arrested For "Pimping Out" 16-Year-Old Fort Lauderdale Girl

A 19-year-old woman is accused of "pimping out" a 16-year-old girl by posting suggestive pictures of her on Backpage.com, a website known for adult classified ads.

Destiny Santilli, aka Tiny, Fro and Yazmine, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in room 213 at the Plantation Inn at 451 NW 70th Terrace. She is now being held without bond on charges of human trafficking, living off the earnings of a prostitute and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A police report says she took a cut, if not all, of the money the girl earned.

The girl, a missing 16-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, told police she met Santilli through friends in April. Santilli asked if she wanted to make some money, the girl said.

Santilli would set up the rendezvous, establish prices and arrange payment. Santilli once kept the entire $100 she made on a date, the girl told police. The girl’s name was not released in the police report.

Police went there after an undercover detective exchanged text messages with a number advertised on Backpage.com and arranged a date.

After her arrest, Santilli admitted to posting ads for the girl from hotels throughout Broward County, the police report said.
