Will June Be On The Up After May Proves Well For Vehicles, Small Business?

New vehicle sales across the nation show slightly higher numbers for May, after faltering both March and April.

Industry analysts acknowledge a competitive sales environment that has kept a strong pace with automakers throughout the past month, but say the use of discounts hurt some bottom lines.

Ford also reported Thursday, a 2.2 percent increase while General Motors saw sales drop 1.3 percent.

The last of the Big Three Automakers, Fiat Chrysler, fell 1 percent.

Nissan was the biggest gainer with a 3 percent increase.

Similarly in fashion, small businesses throughout the nation kicked up job creation in May, adding 83,000 jobs. That's the report released Thursday from payroll provider ADP, who also says 126,000 new small business jobs were created in March and 68,000 in April.
