Haitian Community To Host Temporary Protected Status Town Hall Meeting In Miami

Haitians concerned about losing their Temporary Protected Status are expected to gather Thursday evening in Miami. 

The TPS community town hall will take place at the Caribbean Marketplace at the Little Haiti Cultural Center at 5925 NE 2nd Avenue from 6-8 p.m. Members will talk about the push for the Trump administration to allow them to extend TPS for a minimum of 18 months, and will educated attendees on the current state of immigration for Haitian immigrants.

The town hall is being organized by FANM (Haitian Women of Miami), Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti, Immigration Partnership and Coalition Fund, Americans for Immigrant Justice, Catholic Legal Services, Archdiocese of Miami Inc.
