Disney Employee Arrested For Impersonating FBI Agent

A Walt Disney World employee is accused of impersonating an FBI agent and attempting to pull over a woman driving through Orange County.

Orange County Sheriff's officers say 26-year-old Brett Michael Smith was arrested Saturday. Smith, who allegedly purchased his "Department of Homeland Security" badge for Halloween, says he saw a woman hit cones after she realized Seaworld's Aquatic was full. Smith then tried to pull the women over, according to the arrest report.

When the woman did not yield, Smith walked over to her car while at a red light, flashed his "badge," and said he "worked for the FBI." The woman told police that he also shouted profanities at her.

A nearby deputy turned his lights on and parked his car near Smith's and the woman's after witnessing the ordeal. At first glance, the deputy says he also thought Smith's fake badge was real.

According to authorities, Smith says the reason he went over to talk to her was because someone needed tell her how to drive.

Smith was arrested on one count of falsely impersonating an officer.
