Multiple people are being treated at the hospital after an accident involving a school bus and an SUV.
It happened about 8 a.m. Tuesday on West Oakland Park Boulevard and Inverrary Boulevard, which is also called Northwest 56th Avenue, in Lauderhill.
The Broward County school bus had 13 students on board at the time. One of those students, a teenager, and two people in the SUV were taken to Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes. All three patients reported minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is not clear, though the Sun Sentinel reports that the school bus was stopper and the SUV rear-ended it. It is unclear if anyone was cited in the crash.
