Don't you just HATE when ice waters down your chilled morning cup of joe?
Well, Starbucks is trying to combat melting cube consequences by testing out new coffee ice cubes.
The idea has already been used by smaller cafés for some time, but now Starbucks is testing the idea at a few locations.
A spokesperson for the coffee giant says the cubes made of coffee can be added to any iced espresso or brewed coffee for 80 cents at 100 test locations in the St. Louis and Baltimore markets.
The popularity of coffee ice cubes is that they don't water down your coffee as they melt.
No word on if and when the coffee cubes will make their way down to South Florida.
Do you think the 80 cent investment is worth the richer coffee?
