A Domino's Pizza employee is lucky to be alive after a delivery driver drove her Toyota Camry through the front entrance of the store and into the kitchen Sunday.
The car barreled through the front window of the store at West 60th Street and West 20th Avenue. An employee told authorities that he ran for cover to stay safe.
The driver was taken to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Other employees say it was lucky that no customers were inside the store to pick up their pizza.
Local 10 News was on scene of the crash. You can see footage of the messy incident, below:
Domino's was boarded up and shut Sunday after the car was towed away. At this time, it remains unclear what exactly caused the accident.
A sign on the window told customers to visit another Domino's location on West 49th Street.
