South Florida Fleet Week celebrates and honors the nation's sea services and welcomes our military home.
Mary Anne Gray, Executive Director of Broward Navy Days, says it's their 27th year honoring our servicewomen and men.
"We find it very important for them to know that we care, we care every year, we have a great South Florida community that welcomes them every year," said Gray.
Two Coast Guard Cutters, the USCGC Forward and USCGC Margaret Norvell arrive Monday. Monday night, the public is invited to attend the 'All Hands on Deck Welcoming" Party at 6 p.m. at Esplanade Park, Downtown Fort Lauderdale to greet our service members.
Throughout the week, service members will also participate in a number of community service and community engagement projects.
