A 10 vehicle crash on I-95 in Deerfield Beach Friday morning is being investigated.
The accident happened in the northbound lanes near Sample Road, and shut the interstate down during the busy rush hour.
A dump truck appeared to have crashed into the side of a van. There was also a car with severe damage to its front and rear.
Four people had to be taken to the hospital.
Three northbound lanes remained blocked as of 9 a.m. Traffic was backed up for about six miles.
