Florida foster parents and their children may receive some "thank you" perks under a bill that is currently going to Gov. Rick Scott.
The Senate passed a bill Thursday that would give free annual state park passes and half price discounts on camp sites to foster families.
Republican Sen. Aaron Bean says his bill is a way of thanking the 5,000 families who are caring for foster children throughout the state.
Families that adopt a special needs child in the state's care would receive a one-time annual park pass.
