Senate Voting on New State Budget

The Florida Senate will vote Thursday on a more than $85-billion state budget.

The funding includes increased funds for public schools, higher education and hospitals.

At the same time, the House has to approve the budget, and their version of the budget is $4-billion less.

In order to get an agreement between the House and Senate, there may have to be a special legislative session.
