Seven Special Needs Students in Hospital After School Bus Crash

Seven special needs students are recovering after the school bus they were riding on was involved in a crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The bus collided with a car and a traffic control pole in Sarasota Tuesday morning. Troopers say the bus was carrying 12 students from Oak Park School. 

Seven students, the bus driver, an aide, and two other people in the car were taken to the hospital. 

Troopers say the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
