"O, Miami", an annual Knight Foundation-funded poetry festival with the goal of getting everyone in Miami-Dade to encounter a poem, is set to run April 1-30.
To celebrate the festivities, local elementary students will be unveiling an O, Miami project that they've been working on. On Monday, March 27, a Miami-Dade Transit bus that has been wrapped in a canvas printed with eleven short poems written by students will be revealed. This effort if part of O, Miami's Sunroom project in accordance with Miami-Dade Public Schools.
