Florida Woman Faces Consequences After Drunkenly Telling 911 Daughter Was Kidnapped

A Palm Beach County woman is facing the consequences for falsely telling police that her daughter had been kidnapped.

Authorities say Maria Irias originally called 911 saying her daughter had been kidnapped.  Later, she admitted to making up the story because she was too drunk to remember where the 6-year-old was.

A few hours later the girl was found, though it's not clear how or where.  The mother was arrested on charges of child neglect and filing a false report.

It's unclear what will happen to the woman and her daughter at this point.
