A new study suggests Miami could be affected by Trumpcare, but it may not be in a bad way.
Jill Gonzalez of WalletHub says the difference between subsidies between Trumpcare and Obamacare is pretty minimal.
"Right now it's looking like a difference of $400 meaning a typical resident in Miami was getting around $5,400 from Obamacare now would just be getting around $5,000 from Trumpcare," said Gonzalez.
She says other South Florida cities get a marginal bump. Boca Raton getting the biggest bump from zero dollars in subsidies under Obamacare to now $6,000 Trumpcare.
President Donald Trump plans to visit Capitol Hill on Tuesday to make an in-person pitch for House Republican lawmakers to support the passage of the health care bill, which is expected to reach the House floor on Thursday.
