Bill Would Improve Security at Jewish Day Schools

(Tallahassee, FL) AP --A bipartisan group of Florida House members is pushing a bill to pay for security upgrades at Jewish day schools.

The move comes after months of anti-Semitic threats and vandalism.

The $1.5 million would be used for new fences, surveillance and alarm systems, and bullet-proof windows.
