You'll now be able to get booze before noon on Sundays in Dania Beach.
Commissioners voted 5-0 Tuesday to rid of the city's longtime ban on Sunday morning liquor sales.
Restaurants and hotels in Dania will now be allowed to start serving alcohol at 7 a.m. on Sunday. The city has restricted such sales before 12 p.m. for years.
Cities that have previously loosened bans on Sunday morning alcohol sales include Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Delray Beach, Boyton Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Boca Raton.
At least one Dania Beach commissioner also pushed for the ban lift to include grocery and convenience stores, but was outvoted two weeks ago.
