A college student was so intoxicated that he did not recall traveling to Key West for spring break vacation, authorities say.
Tampa student William Smith Meyers, 22, was jailed Tuesday after police say he drunkenly pushed over two Harley Davidson motorcycles in Key West.
Meyers told police people did not know how to ride bicycles in Key West. Officers say the man made no sense due to his level of intoxication. He told officers that he did no remember traveling and just wanted to go home.
A resident called 911 after finding Meyers shoving parked scooters and motorcycles to the pavement. Meyers got on several of the motorbikes but was unsuccessful in getting them started.
