The man federal authorities believe is responsible for making bomb threats to Jewish centers across the country is in custody.
Prosecutors tell ABC News Juan Thompson, “appears to have made at least eight of the JCC threats as part of a sustained campaign to harass and intimidate” a love-interest after they broke up.
He was arrested in St. Louis.
The 31-year-old is formally charged with cyberstalking.
South Florida JCCs and Jewish schools have been among the nearly 100 locations targeted by bomb threats.
All have been unfounded.
There was no initial word whether Thompson is connected to the South Florida scares.
