A couple is busted in South Florida after police say they tried to place a credit card skimmer on a gas pump at the Chevron gas station located at 13710 Southwest 152nd Street.
Jorge Enrique Noa-Carreno, 38, and Yamisleidys Llano-Perez, 33, face multiple charges including credit card forgery with intent to defraud, unlawful use of a scanning device, trafficking in counterfeit credit cards, and organized scheme to defraud.
Cops say the couple had counterfeit credit cards and tools used to open the pumps. A search of the couple's home revealed a Ford pickup truck that had been retrofitted with an illegal fuel tank capable of holding several hundred gallons.
