Permanent U.S. residents looking to become citizens can get some free help Saturday.
Broward Commissioner Dale Holness says he's been hosting these citizenship clinics for years, but he's seen interest spike since President Donald Trump has threatened to rewrite immigration laws.
The Know Your Rights workshop takes place at the Lauderhill Mall between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday. Immigration experts and lawyers will be available to help permanent residents fill out and file their citizenship paperwork.
